Easy read One Stop Shop

We know how difficult organisations find it to meet the access needs of people with learning difficulties. We now have an Easy Read One Stop Shop, to make sure that organisations have all of the tools, resources and support to meet the access needs of people with learning difficulties.

Below is information about the three parts of the Easy Read Service which can be used individually.

 

Easy Read One Shop Stop support package

Info pack 2This package gives support to organisations around how they can better meet the accessible information needs of their service users with learning difficulties. The Easy Read One Stop Shop support package includes:

  • Equality impact assessmentA full review of the way in which your organisation is meeting the access needs of people with learning difficulties.
  • Recommendations about how to better meet the information needs of people with learning difficulties
  • A support package put together to meet the needs of people with learning difficulties accessing your services. This will be made up of training for staff members, the People First Easy Read Picture Bank and the option of a discounted Easy Read translation service for more complicated documents that you may not have time to produce.

Workshop 2This package will be put together especially to meet the needs of your organisation and at a good price.
