Learning Disability Transport Forum
At the end of 2023, People First (Self Advocacy) and BILD started a 2 year contract with Transport for London (TFL).
TfL wanted to find out what people with learning difficulties, disabilities and autistic people think about travelling in London and how their experiences of using transport can be improved.
Andrew Lee from People First and Kate Brackley from BILD are leading the work.
In 2024 a new network of people who have learning difficulties, disabilities and autism was set up to make sure their experiences are fed into decision-making for Transport for London (TfL) projects and policies.
There were 3 meetings in 2024, in February, June and October.
Topics have included:
- Customer services,
- Using the TFL app
- Buses
Our next meeting is:
Friday 7th February 2025
11am - 3pm
