Graphic recording of the employments sessions. Set out as a PATH, starting with what work people do now and what they want to do. In the centre is what is needed to help get to where people want to be.

After three years working with self-advocates from Nepal online, we finally had the opportunity to meet in person last month.

This was part of the 'Include Us' project, which was a partnership between CBM Global and the National Federation of the Disabled - Nepal (NFDN)

The training programme has focused on self-advocacy and speaking up, producing easy read information and setting up an easy read service, and independence and employment.

Self-advocates planned the in-person training and wanted the focus to be on employment. We used Forum Theatre to explore the barriers to employment for people with learning difficulties in Nepal.
