Easy Read Training

People First developed Easy Read training to support service providers and professionals. The training is designed to help them to get the skills they need to make information accessible.

All training is delivered by our team of experts with learning difficulties, with support. The training includes:

  • Learning about why accessible information is important
  • Understanding the People First Easy Read Standards and how to use them
  • Getting practical experience around translating documents and putting the Easy Read Standards into practice

We have some standard sessions, but we always like to ask people to fill in a short questionnaire to find out exactly what they want from the training so we can tailor it to their needs.
